Paul Spaur
Founder & CEO
Paul started his career as a Paramedic, working in Public Safety, and Search and Rescue, and then pivoted to the Reality Capture industry. He has over 10 years of experience in 3D mapping and GIS, and over 20 years of experience with small Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAV, sUAS aka drones), along with terrestrial and marine robotics. He taught the first sUAS class at Cal State Channel Islands, was the Regional Director of the US office of Pix4D a photogrammetry startup, managed the Drone Mapping Ecosystem at Intel Corporation, and then started Spaur Group. Paul holds a B.S. in Biology from CSU Channel Islands, and a variety of certifications in the drone and GIS space.
Juel Herbranson
Operations/Project Manager
Juel has over 20 years of experience in design, 3D imaging and project management. His experience spans online commerce, medical education, environmental protection, government and large scale imaging of infrastructure and geography. He is certified Project Management Professional (PMP) under the Project Management Institute.
Josh Funke
sUAS Pilot and Technical Media Producer
Josh graduated from Colorado Media School with a degree in media production, and has produced everything from photoshoots, short films, and hosted a radio broadcast show in Denver, CO. Among his many accomplishments he also runs a private film and photography company. He specializes in aerial, ground and 360 photography/videography and has experience flying a number of drone platforms.
Andrew Georgopoulos
Heavy Lift sUAS Pilot
Andrew has broad experience in photography, film, and sUAS piloting. He has thousands of flight hours flying for large scale Industrial Photography, Films, 3D mapping. He has a Bachelor's degree in Photography/Film from the California College of the Arts, is a member of the cinematographers guild, and is an Emmy Award Winner. He’s held the position of Chief Pilot and many organizations and worked around the world on projects including: Amazon, Intel, Olympics, US Army, FAA, Dancing with the Stars, and more.
Wendy Jackson-Dowe
Business Development / Consultant
Wendy has a diverse background including Mechanical Engineering at companies such as Proctor and Gamble, Exxon Mobile and Coca Cola, and 7 years ago decided to take her talents and translate them to using drones to solve engineering problems with her company SkyPix Group. She has experience leading drone training camps for underserved youth, running a team of sUAS pilots for utility inspection work and much more.
